The reports state that Monster was sued last week by the family of a teenager, Anais Fournier, who died after consuming two 24oz Monster Energy drinks in two days and going into cardiac arrest.
The allegations suggest that the high levels of caffeine initiated a heart attack causing her death, according to The Telegraph.
The two drinks together contained 480mg of caffeine.
