The new bottling line will enable H&A to produce a wider range of bottle formats incorporating, in particular PET, in a variety of shapes and sizes from 187ml to 1.5-litre.
Bob Woolf, managing director for H&A Prestige Packing, said: “Our new bottling line will enable H&A Prestige to remain one step ahead of the competition by offering an enhanced range of bottling solutions.
“The new line will improve our capacity and enable the business to grow during the coming months, in addition to securing existing employment within the local community.
“H&A Prestige is also looking to expand internationally, with interest from the US, Mexico and India, and the new line will help the business expand into these markets.”
H&A, which employs around 120 people in Lancashire, has been operating in the wines and spirits trade for more than 100 years, and was acquired by Halewood International in 2003.
