Naked Juice has agreed to settle the claims that it falsely advertised some of its juice and smoothie products as ‘all natural’ and not genetically modified (GMO).
While Naked Juice denies the allegations, it will now be required to establish a $9m settlement fund. Under the proposed agreement, consumers will each be eligible to recover a maximum of $45.
Naked Juice has also stated that it will stop using ‘all natural’ to describe its products.
Naked Juice was first targeted in October 2011.
