French daily Le Figaro has reported that the head of Coca-Cola’s bottling and distribution company in France has committed suicide, for reasons that are, for the moment, unknown.

Jean-Pierre Bagard
Jean-Pierre Bagard, CEO of Coca-Cola Enterprise in France, was found dead on Monday morning in Aix en Provence, and the company said its chief had apparently decided “to end his days”, the paper reported in French.
The company regrets the departure of a man “of heart and action” who had spent his entire career within Coca-Cola Enterprise, Le Figaro also wrote.
Bagard, who was married and had two sons, had been director of Coca Cola’s commercial division for the state of Virginia in the US between 1998 and 2001.
