Milking machine provider Vaccar has secured sole European distribution rights for an innovative new fastening technology from a US-based firm.
Kwik Block is a fastening fixture designed to support piping and tubing from a base structure, securing them in horizontal and vertical positions. The fastening fixture’s versatile V shape ensures the securing of tubes, cables and wires regardless of their diameter, and the technology is reportedly favoured by drinks manufacturers such as Coca-Cola and Pepsi.
The Kwik Block’s non-metallic copolymer polypropylene structure means that it inhibits electrolysis and is practically impervious to rust, ultra-violet rays and water, Vaccar said. They can also withstand harsh environments where moisture and corrosion are present.
Kwik Block UK director Peter Larner said: “Our aim is to engage UK industries and educate them in the real benefits of using the Kwik Block in their work place. It is a heavy-duty, versatile product and so easy to use. The resilience of the blocks far outweighs traditional clamps, with the added bonus of being non-corrosive in harsh outdoor conditions.”
The company’s managing director, Simon Larner, added that the company was “very much looking forward to the launch of this product in the UK”.
