“Coca-Cola Zero comes at a time when Coca-Cola classic has established itself, and the new product therefore complements the company’s sparkling portfolio.”
The company sells a variety of carbonated and non- carbonated drinks in India, including Coca-Cola, Thums Up, Sprite, Maaza and Minute Maid.
India is the 149th country to start selling low-calorie Coca-Cola Zero. The launch is being considered as a strategic bet in the brand’s attempt to strengthen its existing portfolio, and is aimed at providing more choices to the urban Indian male consumer.
