At the Clementine Communications event in London, Claire Rowan, technical editor for FoodBev Media spoke to co-owner Rod Garnham to find out more about Corkers Crisps.
The Corkers brand of ‘very British’ crisps are made using the special Naturalo variety of potatoes that are grown on the Corkers’ farm and provide a nutty, rich flavour and non-abrasive texture to the crisps. Available in seven different flavours, the crisps are the brain child of farmer and owner Rod Garnham and his friend and fellow Corkers owner Ross Taylor. Not only is the brand expanding globally, it has entered the Guinness World Record book for the largest packet of crisps in the world and a pack of the sea salt flavour variety is the first ever to be sent 100,000 feet in to space!
