Scanning solutions manufacturer Scanlab has announced the launch of a new scan head which it says is “optimised for classic laser marking requirements”.
The Basicube 10 boasts the latest technology, dynamic performance, 15% smaller scan head size than Scancube 10, and “superior cost effectiveness for equipment integrators and top laser marking productivity for users,” the company says.
The Basicube improves power consumption and system efficiency, and also features 10mm aperture and laser marking-optimised tuning, silicon mirrors for three laser wavelengths and a rate of 800cps with good marking quality that represents a new industry standard in the compact class.
Georg Hofner, Scanlab’s CEO, said: “When developing the new scan head, we focused first and foremost on customers’ wishes for an attractively-priced high-dynamics system with proven made-in-Germany quality and straight-forward integration.”
The new Basicube scan head will be available to order worldwide following its introduction at a Shanghai photonics trade show in March.
