A technology start-up has launched the world’s first smartphone compatible device for checking the body’s vitamin and mineral status quickly and easily.
The Vitastiq uses electroacupuncture (EAV) methodology and works by measuring electrical conductance and resistance when the stylus is pressed against the skin. By plugging the device into a smartphone, the user can see their results through Vitastiq’s free application and eliminate their concerns about mineral and vitamin deficiencies one by one.
The uninvasive and painless technology enables easy and convenient self-examination at any time, and in any place; the device can calculate levels of the 30 most important vitamins and minerals in the body.
Exhibiting at Vitafoods in Geneva this week, the project has been made possible by a campaign on crowdfunding platform Indiegogo that saw the company generate more than $117,000 of investment – more than its initial funding goal.
Acupuncture and EAV specialist Dr. Vesna Gorički said: “Vitastiq is a truly revolutionary device for measuring our vitamin and mineral status. Many years of practice and hands-on experience in using specialist equipment based on EAV methodology make it clear to me that the Vitastiq device and app have the potential to change our entire approach to health. Vitastiq is an effective, easy-to-use product that places EAV methodology right in our hands. My family and I have been using Vitastiq as a simple means of assessing our own vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Regular measuring checks have enabled us to alter our food and supplement intake as necessary, and we are already feeling the benefits. With the development of Vitastiq, watching over our daily health has never been easier: preserving a healthy lifestyle is in our hands at last!”
