Espresso Works, a provider of quality coffee machines in Perth, Australia, has created an infographic to provide an insight into cold brew coffee, from how it’s produced to how it differs from iced coffee. In addition, it tells consumers how to make cold brew coffee at home in five easy-to-follow steps.
“Cold brew or cold press refers to the process of steeping coffee grounds in room temperature or cold water for an extended period,” explained Espresso Works’ Phil La Rosa. “Cold brew coffee provides a more palatable and fuller tasting coffee than your average cup of hot coffee; this is mainly down to the fact that it is up to 67% less acidic.”
According to Espresso Works, cold brew coffee has the potential to appeal to the masses – to existing coffee lovers and the non-coffee drinkers.
“It’s likely that we are going to witness a serious spike in demand for cold brew equipment in near future so be prepared,” La Rose added.
