Unilever are set to launch a £1.6 million Christmas marketing campaign in November to support its latest innovation, Stork with Butter.
The campaign is being launched with a new TV advert, airing from 23rd November, which demonstrates how Stork with Butter offers consumers the best of both worlds; the perfect blend of Stork and Butter, creating fluffy festive cakes with delicious buttery and creamy smooth icing.
Stork’s TV ad depicts the baking of two Rudolph cakes – one using Stork with Butter and the other using conventional block butter, designed to show how easy it is to bake using Stork with Butter from binding the ingredients together to producing a cake with a fluffy texture and buttery taste.
Stork with Butter has performed exceptionally well since the product launched in May 2015, generating over £1.2 million in value sales and selling almost 1 million units in its first six months.
Brand manager for Stork at Unilever UK Rhiannon Carr said: “We’re very excited to launch our Christmas campaign promoting the latest addition to the Stork range, Stork with Butter, through our brand new TV advert. It communicates to consumers that ‘Every Cakes A Winner’ when you use Stork with Butter, creating light, fluffy cakes with rich, creamy icings and a buttery taste every time.”
Stork with Butter is available in 400g tub format with a recommended retail price of £1.99 and in retail cases of 16.
