HWW Europe was first established in 2003, providing handling and storage solutions to the UK and European water cooler industry. In early 2008, a dispute arose between the company’s previous management and its parent company, resulting in the firm’s loss of focus and imminent bankruptcy.
In late 2008, a last-minute rescue package was implemented. A new managing director, Russell Chambers, was appointed and the company also relocated. It’s now embarking on an aggressive expansion programme to win new customers, in addition to developing its existing client base.
Russell Chambers is looking forward to the challenge of re-establishing the HWW Europe brand and driving the business forward, especially in light of the world’s current financial difficulties.
He stated that while for some companies the current economic environment would challenge their very existence, for HWW Europe the downturn offered the chance to extend its lead over the competition.
Russell Chambers said: “It’s simply not enough to understand what the effect of the current financial downturn will be on your own products and services. It’s equally important to understand what’s happening to your partners, customers and suppliers.
“We’ve streamlined and simplified our operation. Our long-term focus will be to create the ultimate ‘one-stop shop’ solution for our customers. Our current and future product lines are designed to increase our customers’ profits.
The current product range includes three, four and six bottle storage racks, bottle tray trucks and a diverse range of transportation racks. Throughout 2009, new reliable and affordable products will be added to the company’s product lines.
