According to Primo Water chief executive officer, Billy Prim: “Households are looking to save money on their everyday expenses, so single serve water and home delivery services are seen as a luxury, but they still are not thrilled with the tap water option.
They have found a smart, economical way to keep their family hydrated by easily purchasing a water cooler and bottles at retail.”
In the past, having a water cooler in the home meant renting the cooler and having the bottles delivered. Now Primo Water has simplified that option by making coolers and five gallon water bottles readily available at home improvement, mass merchandise and hardware stores across the country.
This do-it-yourself option not only saves a consumer money, but time as well.
“Part of what has limited the acceptance of water coolers in the home has been the ability for consumers to get the water when they want it,” Prim said. “Now consumers can get water when they want it, not when someone decides to deliver it.”
Starting at around $10, water dispenser solutions can be found in the plumbing and hardware section of home improvement, mass merchandise and hardware stores across the country.
