Baby & Me shows a street full of people rediscovering their inner youth (and dance moves) as their reflections reveal the baby version of their adult selves.
The ad was simultaneously launched on Sunday 21 April in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, UK, US, Canada, Russia, Ukraine, Dubai, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan.
“In Baby & Me, everything starts with a stunning encounter,” said Laurent Houel, Evian global brand director. “Walking down the street, a man comes face to face with his reflection in the mirror, but instead of seeing his own face, he sees a baby version of himself. Looking around, he finds that the people around him are having the same experience.
“Each person in the scene quickly finds that being connected with their inner baby creates a feeling of freedom, of letting go, a spontaneous and communicative frenzy. As the live young frenzy takes hold, the group begin dancing.”
The Baby & Me film features the 1990’s Ini Kamoze hit Here Comes the Hotstepper, remixed by Yuksek for Evian.
In May, Evian will launch a free Baby & Me app for Facebook, Android and iPhone, which uses advanced facial recognition software to reveal the user’s ‘baby’ face.
Baby & Me will be supported in the UK by an online seeding plan and high profile TV screenings, including during Britain’s Got Talent on 27 April. It will also be shown through 4 On Demand and Videology, and will be screened in cinemas showing The Great Gatsby across the UK in May and June.
