The Foundation has raised a current total of $6.6m to fund the construction of a new hospital in Iowa Falls (US), which will improve health care for area residents, attract more businesses and create jobs for the community. The new hospital will replace the outdated facility that currently serves the community. It will also include a Health Education area, which will be named for Cargill.
Chad Hammar, director of the Ellsworth Municipal Hospital Foundation, said: “We are extremely grateful to call Cargill a partner in our project. The company has been a strong supporter of Hardin County for a long time, and we feel fortunate to be among those who have benefited from its generosity.”
