Iceland’s Olgerdin hf has bolstered its Floridana brand with the addition of Floridana Grænn; a new juice drink with an apple, pineapple and kiwi base. Floridana Grænn contains 218g of spinach per 1 litre bottle. The new drink also features wheatgrass, spirulina, fresh ginger juice and chilli.
Floridana has benefitted from numerous award nominations and the brand’s Andoxun product won the 2011 FoodBev Beverage Innovation Award for Best Functional Drink. The brand’s latest creation was developed to answer the market’s call for a product that contains less carbs and more vegetables.
Established in 1913, Olgerdin is one of Iceland’s oldest companies which produces its own soft drinks, beers and spirits. The corporation has partnered with a variety of established brands throughout its lifetime, including Diageo, Nestlé and PepsiCo.
