Gulfood Awards judging panel announced

The international judging panel for the prestigious 2010 Gulfood Awards has been announced.
The 2010 Gulfood Awards will celebrate the people and companies behind the region’s exceptional food and drink industry, with categories designed to reward and champion innovation and excellence.
The international judging panel includes:
- Asia & Middle East Food Trade publisher and editorial director, Gabriele Ingwersen.
- Brandcom Middle East chief operating officer, Wadih Massaad.
- Caterer Middle East editor, Lucy Taylor.
- Dubai Municipality Food Control Department senior food health officer, Bobby Krishna.
- Emirates Culinary Guild vice president, Andreas Kurfurst.
- Etihad Salehia’s Bader Al Asker.
- Zenith International regional manager Asia, Middle East and Africa, Sam Maurice Shammas
- IFFCO international business director, Sudakhar Gupta.
- TBWA managing director, Ghassan Kassabji.
- The panel will be chaired by FoodBev Media group editorial director, Bill Bruce.
Entries for the awards close on 25 January and the judging takes place in Dubai on 19 January. Finalists and winners will be revealed at a special awards ceremony and reception on 22 February during the Gulfood exhibition, which is being held from 21–24 February 2010.
