Ready-to-drink iced coffee brand Jimmy’s Iced Coffee has announced a new listing in over 200 Sainsbury’s stores across the UK for its latest variety, mocha.
Mocha joins the existing original and skinny flavours. Its availability in Sainsbury’s is the the first listing for any Jimmy’s Iced Coffee product in the supermarket chain.
The refreshingly different blend of coffee and chocolate has also recently been listed in Waitrose, BP and over 1,200 Tesco Express stores across the country. Waitrose has also added the mocha variant in addition to skinny Jimmy for winter.
Securing the listing was helped by the recent buzz from the brand’s latest marketing campaign, which centred around a rap track called Keep Your Chin Up. Following the rap video launch in August, which attracted the attention of national media such as BBC News, Google and Virgin – including a personal Twitter endorsement from Richard Branson – and 430,000 views in three weeks, Jimmy’s Iced Coffee were invited to run the video as an advertisement campaign on Channel 4, the first time the British drinks brand has appeared on mainstream television in this format.
Watch: Keep Your Chin Up
Jimmy’s Iced Coffee original, skinny and mocha have a recommended retail price of £1.59 for a 330ml carton.
