A brand called Minipresso has launched a compact and featherweight pocket-sized coffee maker that allows consumers to make “delicious espresso coffee shots of the extraction quality of a coffee machine” at any time, and anywhere.
Ideal for intrepid explorers and travellers, the Minipresso is simple and easy to use. The gadget works with the help of a semi-automatic piston, where small quantities of water are injected into the coffee adapter. After a few pushes, the optimal extraction pressure is achieved and a rich and bold espresso is extracted, which can then be enjoyed on the highest mountain or the remotest ridge, the brand said.
At 175mm in size and 360g in weight, the Minipresso is small enough to fit in any travel-sized bag and delivers consumers’ fix of espresso in an instant without being instant coffee. It is available with a retail price of £48.
A spokesperson for the brand said: “You get your kicks from being outdoors and you love travel and discovering some of the most beautiful and remote corners of the world; you also love your caffeine fix too, but you hate having to take a flask full of warm instant coffee as a substitute for the real thing.
But now thanks to the new Minipresso… you can have delicious espresso coffee shots of the extraction quality of a coffee machine any time, anywhere in any part of the world that your travels take you.”
