Northern Irish nut butter producer Keen Nutrition has enhanced its healthy food offering with the launch of a new coconut latte butter blend.
Made using cashew nuts, coconut and espresso, the new nut butter follows the earlier launch of a 100% cashew nut butter by the County Down-based company, which recently signed an agreement to supply its portfolio of nut butters to the Jan de Vries chain of health stores in Scotland. New Keen coconut latte is available in 170g.
Keen founder Aimee Beimers said: “Coconut is now widely seen as offering a range of health benefits, as also do cashews. It made sense to create a blend of nut butter using both. We decided to blend it with espresso because an earlier product using this continues to be successful. The espresso adds significantly to the overall flavour of the new butter.”
