Irish vitamin juice brand VitHit has expanded its presence in the UK by tripling its availability in retailer Tesco, after reporting strong sales.
Tesco has taken an additional two product units from the health brand. From mid-June, Tesco will stock four of VitHit’s five products: Lean and Green, with apple and elderflower; Detox, with mandarin; Boost, with berries; and Immunitea, with dragonfruit and yuzu. They will be on sale in more than 600 stores.
VitHit founder Gary Lavin said: “We have aggressive plans in place to rapidly grow VitHit in the UK, and expanding SKUs with existing customers like Tesco is the first part of this plan. It’s a very exciting time for VitHit and we look forward to further strengthening our foothold here in the UK as the year progresses.”
Each and every VitHit juice boasts no more than 35 calories, only 4g of sugar, real fruit juices, and a high concentration of vitamins and antioxidants. Since launching in 2010, VitHit has achieved weekly sales of more than 170,000, outstripping the likes of Tropicana, Innocent and Coke Zero.
Lavin continued: “UK consumers are more aware than ever of what they put into their bodies, which is great for VitHit – as our products contain no added sugar and just 35 calories, as well as 100% recommended daily allowance of eight essential vitamins.”
