Zola has announced an expansion to its Fruits of the World brand with the launch of a new range of organic dark chocolate-covered fruit pieces.
Available in açaí and blueberry, tropical coconut and dragonfruit flavours, the confectioneries are USDA organic-certified and contain 60% Fairtrade-certified cocoa. The product innovation extends the US company’s brand platform beyond its traditional coconut water and açaí juice ranges.
“These chocolates are a perfect snack for today’s ingredient and socially conscious consumer,” Zola said. It added: “The launch of a third product category is a progressive evolution for the Zola brand as the company continues to strive to meet consumer’s evolving needs.”
The company has also announced new distribution at top retailers, as it continues to develop its distribution footprint in natural food stores and produce departments across the US.
Zola founder and CEO Chris Cuvelier said: “Zola Fruits of the World is a unique brand platform that has extended across multiple product categories within the produce department. With the rapid expansion of the chocolate category and our expertise in açaí juice and coconut water, we saw an opportunity to create a new product line that would be a natural extension for the brand.
“Our expanded distribution gives us the opportunity to reach more consumers with new and exciting products.”
