Kellogg-owned Kashi has released two new nut-based snack bar ranges in Canada, which are predominantly targeted at health-conscious consumers.
Both Kashi joi Nut Bars and Kashi joi Almond Butter Energy Nut Bars will form part of the new Kashi joi product line, and three flavours will be available in both snack bar ranges.
The Kashi joi Nut Bar range will comprise of raspberry dark chocolate hazelnut, pistachio fig & lemon and coconut cranberry almond flavours, and each contains 6g of protein per serving.
Meanwhile, the almond butter bars will be available in dark chocolate espresso nut, banana chocolate nut and blueberry maple pecan bars, and contain 9-10 grams of protein sourced solely from nuts.
All six bars in the range from a mix of natural ingredients, and are all gluten-free, soy-free and Kosher, containing no artificial flavours or colours.
Chet Dhole senior brand manager at Kashi Canada said: “The Wellness aisle in any grocery store can be overwhelming with consumers often sacrificing taste for familiarity.
“Kashi joi is shaking that up with purposefully selected ingredients and carefully crafted flavour combinations to satisfy the unmet need within the growing health and wellness market.
“In fact, we called the bars Kashi joi because we believe this space will welcome the joyful eating experience and exciting choices that our bars provide.”
