The competition will see three young engineers attend the Institute of Water’s National Conference in London next May, courtesy of local supply company GA Vales.
GA Valves are funding the places to the two day event: ‘2012 – Changing the Industry for a Sustainable Legacy’ to be held at The Royal Society in the heart of London from 17 – 18 May, just weeks before the world’s spotlight is on the Capital for the Olympic Games.
Most elements of the water industry are currently under review, have been re-structured or are subject to change. This conference will bring together key people in the sector to discuss the implications of these changes and give their views on how they will ensure the industry can meet the challenges of today, whilst leaving a sustainable legacy for future generations.
