Omega-3 is moving substantially from being purely a medicinal supplement to taking a stronger position in the food sector.
Euromonitor has discovered that the market for Omega-3 both plant and animal sources – fortified food and drink products as well as supplements had an estimated retail value of $30bn in 2012.
