Seedlip now has a presence in more than 25 countries.
The world’s first distilled non-alcoholic spirit brand is preparing to launch in the UK, as it strives to meet continuing demand for sophisticated alternatives to alcohol.
Seedlip combines six individually distilled barks, spices and citrus peels to create an adult and complex blend best sipped long with tonic or short with brine as a non-alcoholic martini, the British company said.
The spirit delivers a sophisticated profile with strong clove and citrus top notes and a long finish drawing on the highest quality barks – including American oak and Bahamian cascarilla – spices such as Guatemalan green cardamom pods and Jamaican pimenta berries) and citrus in Turkish grapefruit peel, all of which are distilled individually in copper pots. Lemon peel, from the Tucuman province of northern Argentina, is distilled at source in stainless steel pots and added as the final component to the blend.

Blended and bottled in England, Seedlip has created a coveted bespoke distilling process for each individual botanical, which means that the final product boasts only 0.2 calories per recommended 50ml serving and is free from sugar, sweeteners or artificial colours and flavours.
The brand claimed to “allow those not drinking the same social rituals of ordering or making a gin and tonic, and bartenders the opportunity to work with an exciting base for non-alcoholic cocktails and aperitifs”.

It will officially launch to market next month, available in 70cl bottles with a recommended retail price of £29.99. Already having secured a listing with Selfridges, it boasts an unopened shelf life of one year and can last up to six weeks once opened.
Seedlip founder Ben Branson said: “My family’s 300-year farming heritage and a career working on drinks brands laid the foundations for the last two years spent working with distillers, growers and historians to create a solution to the what-to-drink-when-you’re-not-drinking conundrum. The response from the trade has been overwhelming and Seedlip is being championed by the top industry names in the world – we can’t wait to get started!”
