Quaker Oats has launched a new range of crispy baked snack bars, combining a medley of ingredients with on-the-go convenience for what the PepsiCo brand has described as “Spring’s must-have snack”.
Quaker Breakfast Flats contain visible inclusions such as oats, real pieces of fruit, crunchy nuts, flax and sunflower seeds. They help satisfy hunger, making them a snack that people can feel good about eating. Each serving contains three flats for less than 200 calories per pack and 18g of whole grains, offering a good source of fiber (7g of total fat per serving) with no artificial flavours or added colours.
“As a working mom, I know how hectic mornings can be,” said Lesley Butler, senior marketing director for Quaker Foods North America. “One thing that every woman needs is a convenient snack to help fuel her. At Quaker, we know breakfast, and continue to innovate to meet evolving consumer lifestyles. Quaker Breakfast Flats were designed to address consumer demand for convenient, nutritious snack options that help satisfy hunger.”
The brand has teamed up with actress Jamie Chung to launch the new breakfast product.
“Feeling confident and comfortable each morning is key, and for me, that means leaving the house with all of my go-to items, including a pair of flats for when I’m inevitably running around town and a nutritious snack for when hunger strikes,” said Chung. “I’m excited to partner with Quaker to launch this new breakfast snack that helps power me on even the craziest of days.”
Quaker Breakfast Flats come in three flavours: cranberry almond, banana honey nut and golden raisin cinnamon. Each box of Breakfast Flats contains five portable packs of three crispy bars and a convenient pull-out tray, with a suggested retail price of $3.49.
