Sacmi's IPS 400 technology is among the innovations to be presented by the company at ProPak Asia.
Beverage packaging and filling company Sacmi will redouble its efforts to capture a share of the Thai market, as it prepares to return to ProPak Asia “to illustrate the latest developments in its range”.
The Italian group claimed that Thailand’s steadily growing manufacturing sector and dynamic economy would provide an opportunity for it “to grasp all the new business opportunities offered by a constantly growing market”.
Sacmi will be participating in the Thai fair in the Italian Automatic Machine Constructors’ Union (Ucima) area at ProPak Asia 2016, which will be held in Bangkok between 15 and 18 June. It will aim to show fellow industry operators the latest developments in its range – as well as the developments obtained from its own R&D facility in terms of lighter, higher-performance caps and containers – thus illustrating, among other things, the potential and intrinsic advantages of compression technology.
Giovanni Pierantoni, sales manager of Sacmi’s packaging-beverage division in Southeast Asia, said: “In Thailand the local beverage and packaging industry is enjoying fast, non-stop growth and the demand for advanced plant engineering and technological solutions is rising accordingly. Thanks to Sacmi Thailand, operational since 2011 and specialised in the closures and beverage business, we’re able to offer not just an excellent technological product but also an advanced after-sales assistance service, accompanying the customer with personalised solutions throughout the working life of the machine and plant.”
