Online beer retailer BeerHawk has launched a new solution for independent bar operators that will allow them to source and stock interesting and unique beers, without the concerns usually associated with a broad inventory of beers.
Drawing on its strong client base and relationships with cutting-edge breweries, Beer Hawk’s new trade service offers businesses the ability to pick and mix beers with no minimum quantity of each beer bought, meaning on-trade customers need not be concerned with expiry date issues or over-stocking on new or unusual beers. The service is available across Great Britain with a minimum order of just £50.
It allows customers the chance to select from over 500 premium bottled beers from recognisable names such as Brewdog, Chimay and Goose Island – and also from some of the toughest to source breweries on the planet.
Another great feature available to trade and consumer customers alike is the fully accredited Beer Sommelier, who not only helps to curate Beer Hawk’s range of beer, but also can provide suggestions for food and beer pairings. This service is backed up by Beer Sherpas, similar to wine advisors, who are on hand via phone to help advise and guide customers according to their needs and preferences.
Mark Roberts, founder and director of Beer Hawk, explained: “We reject 29 out of 30 beers that are offered for inclusion in Beer Hawk’s range and as a result can rightly claim to have the best range of craft beer in the country. We can’t wait to start working with pubs, bars and restaurants across the UK and think we’ve put together a really compelling proposition when compared with the traditional wholesaler routes to market.”=
