The award-winning food and drink emporium, which specialises in quality local produce, has already reported healthy sales and great interest in the “wine box” that dispenses fresh, premium-quality juice on tap.
Darts Farm’s Michael Dart said: “Juicebox is a brilliant concept. The flavours are fantastic and the wine box idea is truly brilliant. On top of that, it’s produced just down the road in Exeter, and at Darts Farm we’re always keen to support good-quality local brands.
“I think the Juicebox will be very popular with families because, from my own experience, I know how quickly the juice disappears from my fridge when the kids and their friends are helping themselves. A five-litre box would certainly last longer and, because it’s full of fresh juice, it helps towards a healthy diet.”
The premium juices on offer at Darts Farm include orange and cloudy apple, plus a smoothie box of orange, mango and carrot. The full range of Frobishers Juiceboxes include pineapple and blends of apple with rhubarb and damson and apple with raspberry. Smoothies are also available in orange, mandarin and raspberry.
Juicebox juices are sourced from fruit producers locally, regionally and around the globe by the Marsh Barton company Cobell, which recently bought the well-known bottled juice company Frobishers.
Cobell was established in Exeter in 1999 by Nick Sprague who now heads-up the Frobishers Juicebox team: “We launched this great new product at the recent Exeter Festival of Food and Drink and had the most amazing response from thousands of people who visited our stand. We’re certain that the wine box concept of dispensing juice direct from the fridge is the next big thing for healthy families who love drinking fresh, premium-quality juice. We’re thrilled that Darts Farm customers will be among the first in the UK to buy Juicebox.”
