Organic drinks manufacturer Epicurex has confirmed that its Cocozia brand of coconut water is up for sale.
The company is hoping that the vibrant US coconut water market, which generated revenues of more than $775 million last year, will be enough to attract a suitor.
The premium brand, which boasts zero additives, delivers fully USDA organic and non-GMO coconut water to its health-conscious target market across the US. Its “brick and click” model has helped it to secure sales in retail stores across the country, as well as online through Amazon.
As well as original, Cocozia’s coconut water is sold in a variety of flavours including coffee, pineapple, chocolate, and mango.
“The timing couldn’t be better for a top-quality brand like Cocozia to seek a new owner,” said Epicurex vice-president of sales Gordon Hansen.
“Metrics confirm that the coconut water sector in the US expanded by a phenomenal 27% in 2015. This brand has always stood out for providing certified first-rate refreshment and hydration benefits without the use of any harmful additives.”
