US based private equity firm Paine & Partners have invested in UK dairy group Meadow Foods.
The deal is said to support UK dairy group, Meadow Foods’ growth through expansion and acquisitions for an undisclosed amount.
It is being reported that agribusiness investment firm Paine and Partners have purchased a 35% shareholding in the company, with business co-founders the Chantler family remaining substantial shareholders.
Simon Chantler executive chairman of Meadow Foods said: “This investment represents a new and exciting phase in the continued development of our business and will open new avenues of opportunity for all of our producer partners, customers and employees.
