Belarusian food manufacturer Lidapischekontsentraty has launched a new range of glazed corn snacks for children, packaged with eye-catching ‘heart balloon’ illustrations from Minsk-based branding agency Aida Pioneer.
The snacks are sold in a smaller format than usual – at 80g – and feature a multicoloured glaze to appeal to Lidkon’s target audience of preschool and early school-age children.
Using the brand name Tilly-Tilly, the snacks are also heart-shaped to ease children’s connection with the product, and this is translated onto the front of the packs with heart-shaped balloon illustrations.
The design also features two stylised characters – a boy and a girl – and the balloons themselves are different between packs to indicate the range of variants.
The logo is placed at the bottom of the package and the packs also feature rhymes that explore the relationship between the two hero characters.
The whole look is complemented, Aida Pioneer said, by matte packaging material and the use of moderate, muted colours.
Flavours include banana, chocolate, strawberries and cream, and caramel.
Although the packs are primarily designed to appeal to children, they will sure to attract interest in the lead-up to Valentine’s Day and will be available on retail shelves in Belarus ahead of the holiday next month.
