Amplify Snack Brands has expanded its SkinnyPop range with the introduction of two flavours made with real cheese: aged white cheddar and pepper Jack.
The company claimed the new varieties ‘offer customers a rich and creamy taste’ and have a ‘unique twist’.
SkinnyPop brand manager Kyle Banahan said: “There’s large demand for cheesy popcorn and we saw an opportunity to bring everything our fans love about SkinnyPop to this large and growing segment, this time with a bigger burst of flavour.
“We’re excited to launch our most-seasoned popcorn flavours yet that are made with real cheese and carry our brand promise of simple ingredients.”
Both flavours are gluten-free and contain no artificial flavours or colours. The new varieties are now available in retailers across the US.
Earlier this year SkinnyPop extended its offering with the introduction of microwaveable popcorn and popcorn cakes.
