The company’s latest investment will bring four new depots on-stream and improve 3663’s nationwide infrastructure, as well as its multi-temperature vehicle fleet and IT systems. New technologies will also be developed to improve customer service and efficiency.
3663 managing director Alex Fisher said: “This investment is part of our strategy for growth based on continual improvement in customer service and the creation of a local and national depot network that is fit for the future.”
The first phase of 3663’s investment began in 2012 following the company’s acquisition of Scotland’s Forteith Foodsevice in July and South Lincs Foodsevice in October. 3663’s new depots will be based in Wakefield, Hoddesdon, Bicester and Chepstow.
