Burger King’s flagship 4,000th restaurant in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region will act as a benchmark for a new generation of outlets, the fast food company has said.
The new restaurant, which is among the largest in the world, opened this week in the heart of Paris. Covering nearly 900m squared with seating for 250 diners, three full kitchens and 12 self-order kiosks, the store will “act as a showcase for an all-new, modern restaurant design, which will serve as an additional option for the Burger King system globally,” the Florida-based firm revealed in a statement.
It added that the new Paris restaurant has a warm and inviting environment that invokes a feeling of nostalgia around the Burger King brand. It features bright and bold colours; a variety of textures in raw materials such as real wood, metal and exposed brick; open ceilings with exposed venting and lights; exposed beams; and multiple seating areas including a lounge area, communal tables and booths with privacy dividers.
The restaurant also offers a special area where children can play with digital screens and interact with the brand in entertaining and fun ways.
It is located in Les Quatre Temps mall in La Défense.
Burger King Corp global chief marketing officer Axel Schwan said: “The Burger King brand continues to shake things up with this new restaurant image that improves the overall guest experience and better conveys the brand’s rich heritage. We are excited to see our great partners at Burger King France become the first in Europe to bring this exciting new restaurant concept to life.”
