The scheme is designed to support small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) grow their business, and is supported by the Government’s Regional Growth Fund (RGF).
The company has launched a range of tortilla-based products under the Mexican Dave and Manomasa brands.
The £1.1m equipment finance funding from HSBC’s Tyne and Wear Commercial team, in addition to a £500,000 grant from the RGF, has enabled the company to purchase machinery required to produce the chips. The deal was led on behalf of HSBC by senior commercial manager Ian Cameron.
