For several years, Amcor has been internationally recognised as a sustainability leader, with inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (Asia Pacific index), the FTSE4Good Index and the Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index (Materials sector, Australian and New Zealand Region).
Amcor’s approach to sustainability is driven by the company’s operating model (Being Amcor) their risk management framework and our key stakeholder interests, the company added. The report outlines our efforts in the five key areas of economy, marketplace, environment, workplace and community.
The report has been prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative’s (GRI) Sustainability Reporting Guidelines (2006) and AccountAbility’s AA1000 Assurance Standard (2008).
