After a four way joint agency pitch the premium Jamaican rum brand has announced that Cutlass Communications, Silver Chair Digital and Flourish will implement a comprehensive all round marketing activity plan to encompass public relations, digital platforms and experiential respectively.
The three agencies will work together to build on last year’s success where Appleton Estate Rum was awarded CoolBrands status in 2012.
Rum accounted for 9% of the UK spirits market in 2012, and the brand will be looking to increase its own market share and gain further traction with consumers. The planned activities targeting the consumer in both the on and off trade will start in May.
