Published by the British Soft Drinks Association, with data from Zenith International, the report also reveals that consumption grew by 0.7% to reach more than 14.6bn litres, or 253.3 litres per person.
The report has the title Long-term commitment for long-term success and showcases examples of achievement in the soft drinks industry over the past 100 years and also in the past 12 months.
Highlights in 2011 include:
