Many thanks to Lanxess for an excellent evening at the Augustiner Brewery in Munich, built in 1328. A paradise for meat eaters. Their stand in Hall B1 has a machine demonstrating Velcorin DT touch dosing technology – ‘the belt and braces’ when it comes to contamination prevention in soft drinks, wine and cider.
During the day, I had the chance to catch up with Sinalco, one of the oldest soft drinks brands at Drinktec, known as ‘German Lemonade’, but that does not prevent them innovating.
They have developed a range that varies in sweetness according to the market in the 150 countries where they sell, to meet taste preferences, using the Celanese Sweetening Solution from Qorus. They also have a refreshing coconut water energy drink on trial, Energi S.
Looking forward to four more exciting days!
