Coca-Cola and WWF have joined forces to raise awareness and funds to help conserve the Arctic home of the polar bear.
The Arctic Home campaign, activated over the next eight weeks, will engage consumers across 16 European markets, including Great Britain via the campaign website. The campaign aims to help educate people about the threats faced by both polar bears and other Arctic residents, including local indigenous communities.
The programme also aims to help educate consumers about how they can take steps to adopt lower carbon lifestyles. Ultimately the campaign plays a part in both organisations’ commitment to inspire and lead change for a more sustainable future.
Coca-Cola will be contributing €3m to WWF over the next three years to support the campaign, plus we are inviting consumers to donate to the cause to help us do even more.
The European launch builds on the successful Arctic Home campaign which ran in 2011 in North America and raised over $2 million in its first year.
