The Coca-Cola Company has announced a series of appointments for the leaders of its new operating units and beverage category teams, following its global restructuring effort.
On 28 August, the company announced a major global restructuring effort focused on three pillars: operations, beverage categories and the services that enable them around the world.
The nine new operating units – which come into effect at the start of next year – and five global category teams will be supported by the newly created platform services organisation.
Following the announcement, Henrique Braun has been named head of the company’s Latin America group and Nikos Koumettis as president of the Europe unit. They join Alfredo Rivera, who has already begun his role as president of the North America group.
Coca-Cola has since named the remaining presidents of the operating units as:
All operating leaders will report to president and chief operating officer Brian Smith.
Coca-Cola has also named the following presidents for four of its new marketing ‘category leads’:
The head of Emerging Categories will be announced at a later date. Global category leads will report to chief marketing officer Manolo Arroyo.
