The shareholders of Kafevend were advised by Clearwater Corporate Finance (Corporate Finance).
Crawley-based Kafevend has an annual turnover of £20m and employs approximately 100 people throughout England and Scotland. The company is one of the fastest-growing office coffee providers in the UK and specialises in the provision of ‘sophisticated coffee solutions’, supplying a range of beverages such as the Flavia brand provided by Mars drinks.
“Kafevend is an exciting acquisition for us as it has vast experience in offering workplace coffee solutions, which will help us expand and enhance our current product range,” said the CEO of Eden Springs International, Raanan Zilberman. “Both organisations share a total commitment to customer satisfaction.
“For the past 20 years, our strategy has been to expand Eden’s operations through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions. The acquisition of Kafevend, which follows the purchase of Shakepeares and Garraways in the UK, will enable us to grow and consolidate our leading position within the business beverage market.”
Marcus Archer, partner at Clearwater Corporate Finance, said: “The sale to Eden Springs delivers a great exit for Isis and an excellent home for Kafevend’s management team to continue to grow the business. As market leaders in the sector, Eden can leverage Kafevend’s strategic position in the UK and build on Kafevend’s excellent track record in recent years. This deal shows that UK companies remain extremely attractive to overseas investors, as the potential for growth continues on its upward trajectory.”
