The new site builds on the success of the consumer site Let’s Get Together, enabling visitors to access any information that they need on the company, whether it’s on the nutritional content of its drinks, where the company sources product packaging from, or what Coca-Cola’s vision is for the future.
The site provides an immediate point of contact with the company, with a blog from its public health nutritionist, Dr Beckie Lang, and the opportunity to raise issues about health and soft drinks.
Sanjay Guha, president of Coca-Cola Great Britain, said: “We recognise there are a lot of questions about our company and our products, and we see this site as a further extension to our transparent and open ‘Let’s Get Together’ site. We’re excited about providing a place specifically for health professionals where they can gain resources, scientific evidence and more information about soft drinks and health as well as about our company and our brands. Through the blog, we can gather feedback along the way and utilise it to provide content that will be of most use to health professionals and keep the site fresh.”
