Two Sides is the latest instalment in Cornetto's Cupidity series of short films.
Ice cream brand Cornetto will celebrate the launch of Two Sides – its latest instalment in the Cornetto Cupidity series of short films – with a combined 3D-sound cinema and immersive theatre experience.
The Cornetto Beyond the Screen experience will be available for consumers to view at the Westfield shopping centre in Stratford, East London until the end of the month. As well as being able to experience the interactive short film, viewers will also be given the choice between a free classic or strawberry Cornetto cone.
Created by marketing company Mofilm and immersive arts agency A Taste of Space, the Two Sides creatives use innovative binaural sound technology and point-of-view camerawork to provide a unique directional sound experience and allow viewers to switch between the two lead characters as the story evolves.
The immersive live theatre show, created and directed by A Taste Of Space, includes an interactive performance, featuring a choreographed song and dance show led by the film’s actors.
Cornetto global brand director Barbara Cavicchia said: “Cornetto is all about embracing new and exciting experiences. The use of the new technology has helped us capture the trials and tribulations of being a teenager in love better than ever before, and we’ve created a much richer experience for our Cupidity fans as a result.”
Mofilm managing director Rebecca Sykes added: “With this Cupidity series, we wanted to portray what love is really like – less The Notebook and more Juno – to demonstrate how the same situation can be viewed completely differently depending on your angle. Technology helped us take this idea one step further and deliver a uniquely immersive experience for the viewer.”
