Pennsylvania-based Naturi has launched Naturi organic Greek yogurt, made on a third-generation family dairy farm in upstate New York.
Packed in 6oz cups, the Greek-style yogurt is strained so that it can mound lightly on a spoon without the addition of any protein thickeners. The product line launches with four versions: they are unflavoured ‘Pure’, coffee and chicory, seedless raspberry, and Indonesian vanilla and Saigon cinammon.
The company, which was founded in February 2014, had successfully crowdsourced funding through the website Kickstarter by August. It describes itself as “a premium, organic food company” that keeps its products high in protein and low in added sugar. Available in locations across Pittsburgh, it now has collaborative ties to venture capital group Birchmere Ventures.
