Cocktails brand Daily’s has launched a new range of fruit-flavoured, carbonated 5% alcohol-by-volume (ABV) beverages.
Packaged in 12oz slimline cans, Daily’s Spiked Sodas will be available initially in four flavours: cherry cola, raspberry ginger ale, lemon-lime and blood orange. The drinks will be marketed principally towards a female demographic, and were “developed for women who want great tasting, slightly sweeter, low alcoholic beverages,” brand owner American Beverage Corporation said.
They differ from other flavoured malt beverages (FMBs) in that they don’t produce a beer-like flavour or malty aftertaste. They will launch into retailers in selected states across the US region – including Texas and California – and have a suggested retail price of $1.99 each.
