Diageo has refreshed the look of its Tanqueray Rangpur gin with a new bottle design, following the expansion of the gin into new markets this year.
Tanqueray Rangpur was released in Brazil, Australia, Greece and Colombia in January following a surge in demand for the brand, which is characterised by its subtle citrus taste.
The redesigned bottle has been released in all markets to celebrate this expansion, and is the first Tanqueray bottle to feature the signature of the brand’s founder Charles Tanqueray.
Also featured is a “Raj-inspired” green and orange border and a prominent Rangpur lime, the signature ingredient of the gin.
Tanqueray global marketing manager, Joanna Segesser said, “It’s an extremely exciting time for gin. It’s a category which is growing at a phenomenal rate with Tanqueray at the forefront.
“This is the reason why we are refreshing the look and extending the reach of Tanqueray Rangpur into new countries.
“Like our founder, who searched the globe for the perfect ingredients, we believe that ‘It’s what you put in’ that matters and Tanqueray Rangpur is no different. Distilled with rare Rangpur limes, the result is a distinctive zesty flavour.
“Our new look bottle reflects this rich heritage and its exotic flavour, while paying homage to the ultimate gin pioneer – Charles Tanqueray.”
The Tanqueray Rangpur gin is available in 70cl bottles, has an ABV of 41% and a suggested retail price of £28.
