The Triple M’s Classic Rugby for Christchurch will take place on 10 March at Brisbane’s Ballymore Stadium, pitching Classic Wallabies against Classic NZ rugby stars in a game of international calibre.
To help rebuild the devastated city of Christchurch, Domino’s will donate 5,000 pizzas to be sold at the event for just $5 each, raising $25,000 for the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal. Domino’s staff will also volunteer at the event, selling the pizzas themselves.
Domino’s NZ general manager Josh Kilimnik says Triple M’s Classic Rugby for Christchurch will see some of the greatest names in rugby from Australia and New Zealand take to the field one more time in support of the city of Christchurch.
“Tapping into the sport played and loved on both sides of the Tasman, and a sporting rivalry unlike any other in the world, this epic game will raise funds for a city that has been devastated and a country in deep shock as the death toll continues to rise and aftershocks roll on,” he said.
“By donating our pizzas at a price of just five dollars each, we will be able to raise a significant amount for the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal and really do our bit for the people affected by these tragic circumstances.”
